Renewable Energy Projects in 2023
We are pleased to be able to announce that we have advised on renewable energy projects with a total capacity of over 1000 MW in 2023.
The projects are located in various European jurisdictions (including Finland, Germany, Italy and Romania) and comprise amongst others, greenfield and brownfield solar and wind projects.
British Chamber of Commerce in Germany event
Members of the Hargrove team participated in the ‘How to Win Brexit’ event hosted by the BCCG and the Young BCCG at the PwC offices in Hamburg.
The event involved playing the strategy board game ‘How to Win Brexit’, based on the Brexit negotiations and developed by Dr. Jan Grzymski (Assistant Professor at Jagiellonian University, Krakow). A fun and challenging team evening!
Lithium Refinery
Advising Livista Energy Europe S.A on a strategic lithium refinery project development to be located in Emden, Germany. In its initial production phase the refinery will be capable of producing 40,000 tonnes of battery grade lithium per annum.
Most recently, a long-term heritable building right agreement has been negotiated with Niedersachsen Ports GmbH & Co. KG which envisages, amongst other things, term and area extension options.

The projects are located in a number of European jurisdictions and include greenfield solar and wind projects.
Team Away Days
The Hargrove team spent its team away days in Aarhus, Denmark (8-10 June).
In addition to a day spent on professional development, the team managed to get in a visit of the ARoS Aahus modern art museum as well as have a lovely sailing boat trip off the lovely Baltic coast of Denmark.
